The contour color must be a dark, matte, or slightly shimmery color. Choose between dark brown, blue, green, or purple, depending on the color of your attire.





Black thickening mascara and stronger-than-usual eyebrows are in tune with smoky eyes makeup. Use soft black eye pencil or kohl for an enhancing all-around contour. Never use liquid eyeliner; it is for crisp lines, not the soft and sultry look we are aiming for here.





Keep your lips pale with a light gloss application. Use black with any outfit for a stunning effect.Make up Tips... Need some help :)?

ive used these tips and theyre very easy to follow! and the outcome is awesome =]
I do this for a simple smokey eye:





Start with a dark base, I love MAC Paint Pot in Blackground.


Apply with MAC #217 brush over the lid and just into the crease.





Take a black (or dark) shadow like MAC e/s in Carbon, and use a #239 brush to pat it on top of the lid.





To add a little depth, I'll take a different shadow and blend with the #217 into the crease. (I like MAC Time%26amp;Space for brown, Flashtrack for blue, Sketch or Cranberry for maroons, etc.).





To finish I will line the bottom waterline with MAC Graphblack liner and black mascara (I prep with Prep + Prime Lash, then Fibre Lash mascara, finally Plush lash).





Then do foundation, powder, blush and lip products. (Do this after doing eyes so you can easily clean up any dark fallout). Hope that helps!
