Professional make-up tips?

i have normal to dry skin with a few spots on my chin and a verrry spotty/red nose most of the time

my make-up collection at the moment consists of

a foundation that's a bit too dark for me

a foundation that's a bit too light

some maybelline dream matte mousse that's a bit lighter than foundation 1 but a different shade to my actual skin tone

a powder that's about the same as foundation 2

blusherrr... a large powder brush, a foundation brush and a few sponges

i usually apply the foundation all over my face, put a bit of dream matte mousse on my spots/under my eyes and a bit of blushers round my cheeks, don't really know what to do with the powder haa

i'm okay at the eye make-up, etc my skin is just terrible and i'd realllly like to know the best way of perfecting it

cheers xxx

Professional make-up tips?
Firstly use a face primer or oil free moisturiser then use the dream matte mousse or a concealer, on your spots and problem areas and under your eyes. Then use the foundations on top, applying with a spounge, please make sure you mix them right so that it comes out the right colour for your skin, and make sure you blend it towards your neck so it doesn't look too fake.

Then use the powder ontop, with a brush, (make sure you tap it against something first so that your blusher doesn't come out with it) (use only a tiny bit) this is to give your face a more matte effect and to defeat shiny areas and give the make up a good finish and then put the blusher on, make your you use a tiny bit, and make a kind of fish face so you suck your cheeks in, and put the blusher along the indented line, to give the effect of high cheek bones.

Tips: I would consider investing a bit more in make up on a better brand e.g MAC or anything around that price, as they're bound to be good. Also I would try and make sure you find a shade which is suited to your skin, you don't want to look orange or like a ghost.

Good luck :)Professional make-up tips?
Cosmetologist;

well first thing you would want to do before applying any make up is to use an exfoliate for your face, then moisturize your skin with an unscented lotion( scented lotions contain alcohol which will dry out your skin) one make up that i really recommend is M.A.C studio fix fluid and pressed powder...you can get it at Macy's. Its my favorite brand they have a variety of shades to chose from
BUY CLINIQUE FOUNDATION!!!!!

best make up product I ever bought,

and its not too expensive.

For 25 dollars, I've had it since june and I still have alot left.

It's actually made my skin better.

Dream matte mouse is a foundation more then a concelaer.

Any mac concealer or make up forever concealer would be better.

You can apply a bit of that before the foundation to help hide blemishes.

The powder is used after the foundation to basically make it stay.

Think of it like an art project.

You use glue(powder) to help the sparkles(foundation) stay on the paper.

If you want, add a little bronzer(sephora has great ones) and/or blush.

Put on soem mascara and your good to go for teh day with a clean and beautiful, natureal look.

LUCKK!!!!
